WOMEN’S HEALTH
I work with women at different stages of life, whether they’re dealing with PMS or other hormonal symptoms, noticing changes in their bodies, or wanting more energy to move and feel stronger.
Together, we look at your food, health and daily life, and put a plan together around what you need now.

Nutrition to support your energy, strength and changing body
How I work with women

Whether you come to me because of PMS, hormonal symptoms or changes in your weight, I want to understand how you feel day to day. What has changed? Are you sleeping? Do you have the energy to do the things you enjoy?
Sometimes we start with a more substantial breakfast, enough protein at meals or easy lunches for busy days. Sometimes sleep, digestion or eating too little needs our attention first.
We work towards your goals while supporting the health and energy that help you stay active. That might mean feeling able to go for a walk again, returning to the gym or supporting the training you already enjoy.
I’m a registered nutritional therapist, trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, with additional training in integrative sports nutrition through CISN. My functional nutrition approach means considering your symptoms, health and daily life together.
We take your stage of life into account, whether you’re managing monthly symptoms, adjusting after having a baby or moving through perimenopause and beyond. Your symptoms and priorities guide the plan.
How we put your plan together
You don’t have to change everything at once. We choose a starting point, see how you get on and adjust together.
01 · Understand what you want to change
We talk about your goals, energy, health history and what a normal week looks like. That includes your food, activity, sleep, cycle and any hormonal symptoms you’re experiencing.
02 · Get your food in place
We look at how much and how regularly you eat, protein across your meals and practical food choices. We adapt your meals to support your goals and the activity you’re doing.
03 · Support movement and recovery
We plan your food around your activity and look at sleep, recovery and energy. The aim is to help you feel able to move more consistently, at a level that suits you.
04 · See how you’re getting on
We review the things that matter to you: energy, sleep, digestion, cycle symptoms, strength or changes in weight and body composition. We adjust your plan as we learn what works for you.

A clearer picture of your hormone health

Changes in your energy, sleep, cycle or body composition can leave you wondering where to start. Together, we look at your symptoms, health history and daily life to understand the support you need.
Where it can add useful information, we can consider DUTCH hormone testing. It measures selected sex hormones, cortisol and their breakdown products, using dried urine samples you collect at home.
As a certified DUTCH Test practitioner, I help you make sense of your results alongside how you feel. We use this information to guide your food and lifestyle plan, with supplement recommendations where appropriate.
The aim is to help you feel more confident about what to do next, with a practical plan and ongoing support that fit your life.

What my clients say
I came to Karelle to improve my nutrition and regulate my menstrual cycle. The changes she suggested made such a quick impact that I got pregnant a few months later! Postpartum, she helped me balance breastfeeding, training, and work. I can’t recommend Karelle enough!
Bianca - Singapore
Karelle has been helping me with my nutrition for the last 2 years.
She is absolutely amazing to work with and chat about issues related to fueling for triathlon or managing menopausal challenges.
Easy to speak with, brilliant to engage.
Ty - Google Review
“After going through an intensely stressful period of life and trying to get back into fitness, she reminded me that jumping in like I was planning would have me hitting the wall very quickly. She was able to talk sense into me and to take a more sensible approach to getting back on the horse.”
